Andi’s interest in hormonal health began immediately after high school when she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 18 years of age. She had always prided herself on her academic achievements, but when she could not wake up in time for or stay awake during classes her first semester of college, she knew something was wrong. Fortunately, she had a provider who recognized her symptoms and decided to draw a full thyroid panel. Desiccated thyroid came to the rescue and she was able to continue and complete her education to become a compounding pharmacist.
