Director of Women's Health at Belmar Pharma Solutions

Andi’s interest in hormonal health began immediately after high school when she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 18 years of age. She had always prided herself on her academic achievements, but when she could not wake up in time for or stay awake during classes her first semester of college, she knew something was wrong. Fortunately, she had a provider who recognized her symptoms and decided to draw a full thyroid panel. Desiccated thyroid came to the rescue and she was able to continue and complete her education to become a compounding pharmacist. Her entire professional career has focused on optimizing women’s health and finding innovative solutions to help improve the hormonal changes and challenges women face throughout their lifetime.

Andi lives in the midwest with her handsome and supportive husband, Matt, and their three children, Izzy (15), a beautiful singer, actress, and flute player; Trace (14), a skilled tennis playerand video game enthusiast; and Max (12), a busy football, basketball, and baseball player who also plays the flute. Her family enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with their two dogs, Mila and Loki. Andi’s mom and dad have been some of her biggest cheerleaders in life, and she is fortunate to have the opportunity to spend quality time with them

Life Mantra
Just BreatheWhether it is to help center myself during a tough situation, or a reminder that I still have breath in me to value what is important in my life, I try to remind myself to take a deep breath multiple times a day. We take approximately 20,000 breaths every day, but how many of those are conscious breaths? Life starts and ends with a breath.

Favorite Color
AmberIt is a color associated with sunshine, which increases feelings of vibrancy and happiness. It also promotes joy, positivity, confidence, and safety. Plus, it is one of my favorite songs of all time (311)!

Attitude towards aging:
I think Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator Genisys said it best: “I’m old, not obsolete.” And then he went on to save the world...AGAIN. I would not consider myself anti-aging. I am more anti-low-quality-of-life-aging. Everyone should feel comfortable aging gracefully and have resources to help them achieve optimal health, no matter what age.
